I have three years teaching experience and over 20 years tutoring experience in Chemistry and Math. My success stories include several students being admitted to Pharmacy School, and also one a very competitive Physician's Assistant program. My students have ranged in age from 10 to 60+, I am talented at finding the "disconnect" and helping the student to conquer it so they can succeed! I enjoy using a variety of examples and analogies to make the subject matter more clear, and like to explain *why* something is the way it is, not just "do it that way, because that's the way it's done". Understanding the reason behind the steps in problem-solving can carry through several courses! I tutor mostly online, but also in-person if needed. I am also happy to work with small groups of students all from the same class and can offer a discounted rate per student to make the help more affordable. It is best not to wait until the last minute, but if you have, and you need a good "cram session", I can help you! Also, if you have a question between regular sessions, I am happy to answer short questions by phone, text, or e-mail.
